Sunday night class

I had a great time at paperific a couple of weeks ago. I came home really inspired and set to work in my craft room. I soon had 2 other people wanting to play and it quickly because a gelato class

Not a bad first attempt from my husband! - I may try and argue it was because of my brilliant teaching! 

Project life. Handmade cards

I've recently become interested in project life and I've been working on an album for Ethan. I came accross a company called deer & fawn designs who are a specialist pocket page scrapbooking online shop. They are a great source of inspiration and they have started monthly challenges and handmade PL card swaps. These were the first 2 handmade cards I made. The theme was Father's Day.

I've entered again this month and there is no them- I'm looking forward to getting my thinking cap on for another great set of cards :-)

Fairies are all around us

Just a quiet evening in my craft room created this :-)

Gelatos, Posca pens, laser cut fairies, treasure gold, silver paint dabber, thickers letters, stayz on ink, stampin up stamps.

I love how dreamy the page looks, how it appears that the fairy is blowing bubbles and the other is watching. I enjoyed making this page and it really only took a couple of hours.

Loved, a gift for a special lady

I had an evening of crafting ahead. I wanted to make something that helped me feel better not just creating for the sake of it. I flicked through Pinterest and saw something that caught my eye. As soon as I got started it came together within the evening. As I started with the colour and the girl I knew who it was a gift for. My gorgeous friend Dani I was meeting for breakfast the following day.

I saw this beautiful canvas on Pinterest that I loved the style and design. You can see their blog address on the photo. 

This was my take on the design step by step.

I really enjoyed making this canvas. It's quite different to the original design I saw but I love it. Happy crafting everyone.

Bright and fun, Zentangle

I'm loving the challenge of being creative everyday. I have so many ideas for things to do when I get back to Australia and back to my lovely craft room.

I've only got minimal craft stuff with me over here in the UK.

Makes my heart sing

It's been a hard day today. I'm really missing my little man and generally just a rough day. It's days like these usually I do nothing but forced by the challenger my husband and I are doing it meant I had to do an index card.

Imdecided to try and use it to cheer myself up- bright fun colours. I've used collage, dylusions and dylusion stamps and then my paint pens to decorate.

making this and the finished product really cheered me up. Thank goodness for art in my life.
